“Awayuki – Melting Snow” by Wood & Washi will remind you of melting snow on a beautiful spring morning. This extraordinary paper was designed exclusively for Wood & Washi by the Japanese artist Kyoko Ibe. The textured white surface of the paper creates fascinating light effects and a pleasant warm ambiance in any room. The completion of the image is made by ribs in a soft bronze tone.
WHITE FEATHER
“White Feather” paper looks as soft as a feather with an irregular pattern that looks handmade. Bleaching creates an ornate effect in brilliant white. The shining silvery chrome-ribs reflect the colours of any room. The clear lines emphasize the pleasant beauty and purist design.
MISARASHI
“Misarashi” has a similar surface but is unbleached. The subtitle cream colour produces a soft harmonious effect and blends perfectly with any interior. The Golden ribs adopt the Washi colour and warmth is emitted.
OFF WHITE UNRYU
White Unryu” is based on the classic “Laminated Washi 01”. The fine fibre texture is accentuated by its rich cream colour, which fills the room with warm light. Interplay with golden ribs creates an enjoyable and soothing atmosphere.
MOUNTING PROFILE & CASSETTE FOR ROLLO SHADES
In 2009 Wood & Washi will be presenting a new mounting profile and cassette for its Rollo Shades at the IMM in Cologne and the Intirio in Ghent. The two aluminium profiles have deliberately been designed to allow for various combinations. This makes for a wide range of possible uses. The profiles can be combined as a single mounting profile and as a cassette that can be used for both wall and ceiling mounting. It is also possible to hang several Rollo Shades with one system.
